Our high-quality mats cover a wide range of applications. We select special foams to meet different requirements. 'All Purpose Mats' are made of a heavy 5 lb urethane foam for extra cushioning. 'Gym and Fall Zone Mats' are laminates of dense urethane and different combinations of closed-cell cross-linked polyethylene foams for shock absorbtion. 'Indoor/Outdoor Mats' and 'Diaper Mats' are made exclusively of closed-cell foams that will not absorb moisture, while 'Sleep Mats' use a softer cushiony foam.

Mats Tested for Shock Absorption to meet ASTM 1292 Requirements for Indoor Play Areas      Emerging requirements to require use (fall) zone protecting for indoor elevated play equipment is a majopr issue facing our industry. In respnse, we have identified, in the boxes below, those SafeSpace mats which are tested against the ASTM 1292-04 standard by an independent testing labratory. These tests are cunducted at average indoor temperatures at determining the use (fall) zone requirements met. Next to each of the mats tested is noted at what platform height they meet or exceed ASTM 1292 using new 2004 criteria.
